All items featured are hand made by myself in my Chelmsford workshop, and carefully finished to a very high standard which makes them a delight to handle. I do not use a laser cutting machine, so my products have no burnt edges, which are a marring feature of so many mass produced wooden items these days.

All my toys are UKCA certified and guaranteed safe for normal play by their intended age group. Where they are considered unsafe for a particular age group, eg, where there are small parts which might present a choking hazard, or long cords, as on cot mobiles, they are labelled as such, with suitable advice to parents and guardians to ensure safe play.

They have no batteries, no flashing lights, no blaring sirens or music. They are simply intended to encourage young children to develop their motor skills, co-ordination and imagination, and take delight in the look and feel of a totally natural product. In short, they are made with pleasure to give pleasure.

For many years I was a member of the Essex Craft Guild, having passed their rigorous quality based selection process, and I was proud to exhibit at their many shows around the county of Essex until the Guild’s demise in 2025.
